Annual Performance Reports 2003-2004

Note: All states develop their own state assessments and define their levels of achievement, including the level needed for a student to be considered proficient. Data from the assessments are reported annually to the U.S. Department of education through Annual Performance Reports. Some state data may not be available, as in the case of a state not having assessments at all grade levels or a state changing its process or policy in some way. For calculating rates of students proficient in this analysis, the denominator used is students with IEPs in the assessed grades. States are shown as having incomplete data if proficiency data for the regular assessment are unavailable for any of the analyses selected.
